Currently, assessment of property or property complexes is the most common type of assessment activities, which is primarily due to the broad spectrum of assessment objects classified as property.


Property means utility object of possession or use of individuals or legal entities. In other words, assets or property is a set of proprietary rights of a particular person or legal entity.

Property complex is a complex of proprietary rights of a legal entity for all objects involved in entrepreneurial activity.

Property assessment report (assessment of property or property complex) has a large weight in disputes with tax authorities, when it comes to the correctness and completeness of tax computation. This report is an official document of evidential significance and can be used in court.

Moreover, there are often cases of property or property complexes assessment in transactions of purchase and sale. In spite of the fact that the buyer and the seller are free to determine the price (unless otherwise provided by law), an independent valuation will set a real benchmark price (market value) on the object of sales existing at the date of the transaction.
